Puja Ceremony for Bob Wilson

Buddhists believe a person’s soul enters another realm after leaving this world, determined in large part by the way they lived their life, especially showing love and care for all sentient beings, advocating peaceful co-existence with humans and nature. Although to our knowledge Bob was not a Buddhist, he showed much passion and concern for wild creatures of sea and land.

The prayers and ritual blessings of the Puja are intended to help the soul transcend into the new realm. Lama Tshering Sherpa performed the ceremony in honor of Bob on the 49th day of his passing, the day the soul is freed.
