A snow leopard as seen during the last Winter Trek

Members of our 2012 snow leopard trip were treated to four separate snow leopard sightings, at close range and at a distance. They also observed multiple groups of blue sheep and other large ungulates (Ladakhi Urial and Ibex) and reported spotting numerous vultures and golden eagles, and snow cocks. Congratulations to the team, led by “the best snow leopard tracker in Ladakh,” Mr. Jigmet Dadul, of Snow Leopard Conservancy India.
