The Snow Leopard Network was created in 2002, by delegates to the Snow Leopard Survival
Summit. The network is charged with coordinating the efforts of researchers and conservationists working across the snow
leopard’s vast range. The network will exchange information and collaborate on projects through its member
organizations, with the goal of maximizing limited resources and minimizing duplication of effort. Rodney Jackson is
serving a two-year term on the eight-member Steering Committee.
As a founding member of the Network, Snow Leopard Conservancy is committed to supporting Snow Leopard Network’s mission and to working hard to avoid duplication of effort so that the available resources can have maximum conservation impact. We encourage all individuals and organizations, worldwide, interested or active in snow leopard conservation to apply for membership.
